1. Who we are

LessonKind ("we," "us," "LessonKind") is a website publishing free, curated teaching resources, printables, articles and browser-based tools for primary/elementary school teachers, primarily across the UK, US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland. 2. Using the site

LessonKind is free to browse and use. No account or sign-up is required to access any resource, printable, tool or article on the site. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

3. Content and downloads

Our printables, worksheets, templates and downloadable PDFs are provided free of charge for use in classrooms, at home, and by individual educators. You may print and use these resources for teaching purposes. You may not resell our resources, republish them as your own on another site, or redistribute them in bulk (e.g. bundling them into a paid product) without our written permission.

4. Browser-based tools

Some pages include interactive tools (for example, our label generator, handwriting practice sheet generator, certificate generator, maths worksheet generator and report writer). These tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is sent to our servers unless a tool specifically says otherwise. Where a tool saves data locally (via your browser's storage) to let you resume later, that data stays on your device and is not visible to us. These tools are provided as-is, to help save you time; always check the output before relying on it for anything you print, submit or send to someone else — particularly any tool used for pupil records, such as the class handover tool, where you remain responsible for what you write and how you store it in line with your school's own data protection policy.

5. Accuracy

We aim for our content — including curriculum guidance, subject content and teaching advice — to be accurate and useful, and it's reviewed by our editorial team. However, we make no guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free, and content should not be treated as a substitute for your school's own curriculum guidance, safeguarding policy, or professional judgement.

6. Affiliate links and advertising

Some pages contain affiliate links — if you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is fully explained on our affiliate disclosure page. We only link to products and services we believe are genuinely useful to teachers; commission arrangements do not determine our editorial recommendations.

7. Intellectual property

The LessonKind name, logo, and original written content, templates and tool code are our property or used under licence. You may use our downloadable resources for their intended teaching purpose per section 3 above, but the underlying site content, design and code may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Third-party links

Our site links to third-party retailers, services and other websites (including affiliate partners). We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site you visit from a link on LessonKind.

9. Limitation of liability

LessonKind is provided free of charge, as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, our resources, or our tools — including reliance on content accuracy, or any issue arising from a browser-based tool's output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as we add new features or tools. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you access LessonKind from outside the UK, you're responsible for complying with your local laws as well.
