About this tool
Look-Cover-Write-Check (LCWC) is the standard UK primary spelling practice method. The child looks carefully at the word, covers it, writes it from memory, then checks. Repeating this 3 times is enough to commit most spellings to memory.
Type or paste your weekly spelling list, pick the number of attempts, print on A4. Quick-fill lists for UK Y1 / Y2 / Y3-4 / Y5-6 statutory spellings, plus 'i before e', '-ough', and '-cious / -tious' pattern sets.
