How to use this tool
Enter the specific grapheme or phoneme you're teaching — the more specific the better. 'oa as in goat' works better than just 'oa'. For Phase 5, specify the alternative spelling if needed: 'ay (play) — alternative to a-e'. For spelling rules, describe the rule: 'drop the e before -ing (making, baking)'.
